With the Fall season upon us, let’s look back at the events that took place at Hard Rock Stadium so far and see what’s upcoming this month.
October 29 – Miami Dolphins vs. New England Patriots
This game will finish out the month with throwback. Fans are encouraged to wear white. The game will start at 1 p.m., and can be watched on CBS for fans unable to attend. Tickets are still available to purchase.
October 28 – University of Miami vs. Virginia
The University of Miami will host their homecoming game against Virginia on October 28. The matchup marks the Hurricanes final home game of the 2023 season.
October 21 – University of Miami vs. Clemson
The University of Miami will play Clemson University on Saturday night at 8 p.m. Both teams are currently 4-2. University of Miami fans are encouraged to wear white.
October 15 – Miami Dolphins vs. Carolina Panthers
The Dolphins recorded 35 consecutive points on their way to a 42-21 victory over the Carolina Panthers in Week 6. The day was filled with festivities as former Miami Dolphins linebacker and 2023 Pro Football Hall of Famer Zach Thomas was honored during the game.
October 7 – University of Miami vs. Georgia Tech
The Hurricanes tallied their first loss at Hard Rock Stadium against Georgia Tech with the 23-20 final score. In the last few seconds of the game, Georgia Tech recovered the ball from a fumble and scored with one second to go of the fourth quarter.
October 8 – Miami Dolphins vs. New York Giants
The Dolphins faced the Giants in Week 5, resulting in a 31-16 win. During the game, the Dolphins recorded 524 yards, four touchdowns and a field goal.
September 24 – Miami Dolphins vs. Denver Broncos
The Dolphins came home for Week 3 and broke the franchise scoring record with a 70-20 victory over the Broncos. The Dolphins demonstrated one of the greatest offensive performances in NFL history with 10 total touchdowns. With the historic win, Miami became the first NFL team to score 70 points since 1966.
September 14 – University of Miami vs. Bethune-Cookman University
The Hurricanes won 48-7 against the Wildcats, making this their third win during the season and their third win at home. On offense, the Hurricanes rushed 250 yards and had 243 passing yards. Defense totaled 44 tackles.
September 9 – University of Miami vs. Texas A&M
Many fans wore orange as the University of Miami took home their second win of the season against Texas A&M in their Orange Out Game. The final score was 48-33.
September 3 – Orange Blossom Classic: Jackson State University vs. Florida A&M University
The Orange Blossom Classic returned to South Florida this year. Florida A&M University started off their season with a win against Jackson State. The final score was 28-10.
September 1 – University of Miami vs. Miami University of Ohio
The Miami Hurricanes kicked off their 2023 season with a 38-3 win at Hard Rock Stadium against Miami University of Ohio.
